Manda Bay is a family owned and managed boutique 'barefoot luxury' lodge on Kenya’s remote Lamu archipelago in the North Coast, offering 22 rooms. Located on a newly developed wildlife conservancy, Manda Bay offers a beach and bush experience with conservation at the forefront. Intimate and effortlessly relaxed, it’s a place where guests arrive as strangers and leave as family. Guests have the option to be as relaxed or busy as they prefer with a wide range of activities on offer. It's the perfect blend of adventure and laid-back warm tropical coastal charm next to the ocean. Room Types:

We have a total of 22 rooms comprising 3 distinct types namely; 11 Beach Front Rooms, 5 Palm Rooms and 6 Garden Rooms.

Room Description:

Beach Front Rooms are located right at the sea wall next to the ocean, Palm Rooms are located further back from the sea wall on a higher ground while Garden Rooms are located in the middle of the property. All our rooms are en suite and designed from locally sourced materials which include; wood, palm-woven matting floors, and palm thatching. Each bedroom is designed with simplicity in mind, featuring open-air windows without shutters or glass. Every room includes an oversized walk-in mosquito net, overhead fans, and a verandah with chairs and a swing bed for ultimate relaxation while you stay with us.
